Dear Neighbor,

Foster City is at a critical juncture. Serious financial challenges threaten our city’s future. We’re facing budget deficits this year and the years after if we don’t do something. And do something quickly.

 

We’re faced with two choices moving forward: increase revenue and/or make cuts. With more than 24 years of corporate experience in business and finance, I will create effective solutions for economic development, small business revitalization, and supplemental revenue generation. I will work to eliminate the projected structural budget deficit while preserving our quality of life. I will continue to promote a positive, respectful, and collaborative dialogue with our community.

 

I’ve been committed to helping our community, from volunteering in the schools to serving on city committees and serving as a councilmember/ mayor. During my tenure, the city delivered balanced budgets every year and led the Levee Improvements Project, the largest infrastructure project in the City’s history to timely and under-budget completion. I worked to support our small businesses, schools, and seniors, prioritizing public safety, infrastructure, traffic solutions, and improving our parks.

 

I look forward to working with my fellow councilmembers, staff, and community to create a sustainable future for Foster City. I respectfully ask for your vote.
